TRACES OF OUR LIVES is a new interdisciplinary performance format situated between concert, live conversation, music theater, and visual memoir. Two artists from different personal and cultural backgrounds meet on stage to speak openly about memory, artistic identity, fear, transformation, migration, performance, and the realities of creative life — accompanied by live music, performed by Ensemble Musica Sequenza.

The production unfolds like a living photo album. Personal photographs, archival material, childhood memories, cities, apartments, backstage documentation, and intimate video fragments are projected on a widescreen while the artists perform, improvise, and reflect on their lives in real time.

Moving fluidly between conversation and music, the evening investigates the tension between public artistic persona and private biography. Music becomes memory, commentary, interruption, confession, and emotional continuation of the spoken narrative.

The evening creates a deeply personal and intercultural dialogue between two artists: Burak and the guest. The project focuses on their individual lives: their similarities, differences, vulnerabilities, humor, and artistic obsessions. Each chapter combines conversation with live musical moments. Music functions as memory, commentary, interruption, and emotional continuation of the spoken narrative.
